Student Travel Award for the
ARLIS/WNY Fall 2013 Meeting
Purpose: To encourage students and prospective librarians to explore careers in art and architecture librarianship through participation in ARLIS/WNY activities, specifically the Fall 2013 Meeting at the Watson Homestead.
Value: $110 to cover registration for the day and a half conference. Registration includes the program, food, and shared lodging at the Watson Homestead.
Application: To apply for the travel award, please submit by email:
1. A letter of application (no more than two sides in length) stating where you learned of the award, your specific interest in art librarianship and expectation of the conference at the Watson Homestead your professional goals, and why you think you are a worthy candidate for the award.
2. A resume listing education background, employment history, and professional activities and/or interests. Please include your telephone and email address, as well as the names of two references including title, email, addresses, and telephone numbers.
The deadline for submission is Monday, September 23, 2013.
Candidates will be notified as soon as possible.
